Investment controlling
Markus Drechsler has a long commercial career with a focus on sales, purchasing and controlling. He laid his professional foundations by training as a wholesale and foreign trade merchant. After his first few years in sales, he moved to Felderer GmbH in 2007, where he took on operational responsibility for many years and gained further qualifications in business administration from the Chamber of Industry and Commerce.
As part of his work, he accompanied several company acquisitions and was directly involved in their implementation. This included asset deals with operational responsibility on site as well as the development of controlling structures and financial reporting in accordance with HGB. In addition, he was responsible for the introduction of ERP systems and supported the integration of group processes and IFRS reporting in the course of the sale to Lindab Sweden.
Today, Markus Drechsler contributes his experience to the Abacus Group’s investment controlling department. His focus is on clear structures, reliable figures and dependable management of the portfolio companies.
