The Abacus Group has invested in Transform2Scale, thereby creating a new unit that supports medium-sized companies in the targeted use of artificial intelligence. For small and medium-sized businesses, it is crucial that AI be used effectively. It should make work easier, improve processes, and provide guidance. It must not become an additional hurdle that creates new complexities, dependencies, or siloed solutions.
The name Transform2Scale captures the essence of the approach: Companies must change in areas where current structures, processes, or ways of working hinder further growth. Scaling doesn’t happen solely through new tools. It happens when processes become clearer, repetitive tasks are reduced, information is more accessible, and responsibilities are clearly defined.
Transform2Scale helps the Abacus Group’s portfolio companies avoid implementing AI haphazardly and instead evaluate it in a structured way: Where are the bottlenecks today? Which tasks are unnecessarily time-consuming? Which processes hinder speed or reliability? Where can automation help alleviate the workload? And where does the use of AI not make sense?
The focus is not on the tool itself, but on the specific problem within the company. Only once it is clear which task needs to be solved and which process needs to be changed is it determined whether AI is the right approach for the task.
